Big Sand Lake Lodge

Big Sand is truly a remote world class fishing lodge. With no other communities or cabins in the area, guests are free to enjoy Manitoba’s North at it’s best.

Situated high atop an ancient esker, the main lodge, constructed in 1987, was built with the guests’ needs foremost in mind. Hundreds of square feet of glass provide a sweeping view of northern waters, while a beautiful stand of Birch and Pine trees serve as a natural background while dining or relaxing.

Let’s not forget the fish! It’s not uncommon for our guests to catch and release 20 to 30 lb plus Northern Pike, 50 lb plus Lake Trout, 3 to 4 lb Walleye and trophy size Arctic Grayling.
